Darin: My name is Darin and I live in Francis, Utah.
Project 3648: Okay. Darin, I know many good people are finding themselves in different situations where they have been unable to keep up with their mortgage payments. Can you please briefly explain what happened in your case?
Darin: We lost all the value in our home and we weren’t able to refinance it to try to get better rates. So we had to do something.

Darin: It was nice to know that we had a professional person that was going to do he could to help us take care of the problem.
Project 3648: Okay. Darin, I know sometimes the short sell process can be long and cumbersome. How was your experience working with Mr. Thomas?
Darin: We knew exactly the timeframe we were looking at, and he kept us well informed and I felt like he and Joshua educated us the best they could about the situation and were very supportive during the whole thing.
Project 3648: Okay. What are some of the things that were done to help relieve the stress of your situation, Darin?
Darin: Well, most of it was just having someone you could call and have a dialogue with, and have them explain the situation, explain some of the terms and explain some of the processes that were going on. It’s about having someone there. Being able to call Bryson whenever I needed to was nice.
Project 3648: Fantastic, and we do like to hear that. What did you like most about the work that Mr. Bryson Thomas did for you?
Darin: Just having a professional that was actually willing to be a professional and do what he told you he would do was very nice because that doesn’t happen very often anymore.

Darin, I know a lot of foreclosure scams, they’re out there and they’re charging homeowners money and they’re not providing any help to them, and Program 3648 scam prevention efforts have done a lot to help homeowners understand that they can get real help for free. How did it feel for you to receive all of the help and services that your Program 3648 representative provided at absolutely no cost to you?
Darin: Oh well, it felt nice. I mean, if someone’s in a situation where they’re short selling – which we were – when you’re in that situation, you don’t have any money to pay anybody, and it was nice then to have somebody come in and understand that and tell you upfront that this is not going to cost you a dime. We’re going to get you fixed with this so you can get your life back together and get going again.
